Depth/Angle Gage for General Users
The depth/angle gage is designed to make precise depth measurements in small holes and slots. The etched stainless steel rule is 6 inches long and 1/4 inch wide, graduated in 32nds and 64ths. It has a 2-1/2 inch hardened steel base and conforms to government specification GGG-G-17b. This easy-to-use depth and angle gage allows you to accurately measure and mark the outside, inside, and sloped angles of a surface.
The hardened steel base is grooved on both sides to deliver accurate angles, and it permits easy setting of the protractor angle to 30, 45, and 60 degrees on both sides. The rule can also be used as a depth gage for measuring small holes and slots.
The spring tension nut eases depth and angle measuring by securing the rule in a milled slot at a 90-degree angle to the base. This gage features a 6-inch by 1/4-inch etched stainless steel rule, graduated in 32nds and 64ths, with a 2-1/2-inch wide hardened steel base.
